BEFORE YOU REQUEST A BUS

Customer Terms & Conditions

Version 2026-10-15.1 · Effective 15 October 2026

We connect customers and independent bus operators. We do not inspect buses or handle customer payments. Agree and verify all travel and payment arrangements directly with your operator.
  1. Portal role and scope

Tourist Bus Portal connects customers with independent bus operators and passes booking enquiries to the selected operator. We do not own, operate, maintain or drive the listed buses and are not the transport service provider. Listing or account approval is permission to appear on this portal; it is not a certification, inspection, recommendation or guarantee of the operator or vehicle.

  2. No bus verification or safety guarantee

The portal does not check or certify bus registration status, ownership, permits, fitness, insurance, pollution certificates, road tax, mechanical condition, cleanliness, amenities or driver licences. Operators are responsible for accurate listings, lawful operation, roadworthiness, qualified drivers and all required documents. Before agreeing or paying, ask the operator for current documents and confirm the bus, capacity and suitability. Do not travel if the vehicle or driver appears unsafe.

  3. An enquiry is not a confirmed booking

Submitting a request sends your details to the operator. The operator should contact you to discuss availability and requirements. A request reference, listed price or portal status does not by itself create a final transport agreement or guarantee that a bus is reserved. Even after the operator marks a request accepted, confirm the actual vehicle, itinerary, price, payment schedule and cancellation terms directly with them in writing. The portal does not guarantee a response or response time.

  4. Agree the full service and price

Before paying, obtain a written agreement covering registration number, seating, AC and amenities, travel dates, pickup time, route, stops, distance and time limits, driver allowance, fuel, tolls, parking, state permits, taxes, overnight charges, extra kilometres or hours and the final total. Displayed rates and photographs are supplied by operators and may be indicative. Do not assume an extra service or charge is included unless the operator confirms it.

  5. Direct payments and fraud prevention

The portal does not collect, hold, process, secure or guarantee customer payments, deposits or refunds and is not an escrow service. Any payment arrangement is directly between you and the operator. Independently confirm the business identity, recipient and account details before transferring money. Obtain receipts and keep records. Never share OTPs, PINs or banking passwords. Subject to applicable law, the portal is not responsible for payment disputes, failed transfers, fraud by third parties or an operator failing to return money; these must be pursued with the operator, payment provider or appropriate authority.

  6. Cancellations, refunds and changes

Obtain the operator’s cancellation, refund, no-show, rescheduling and substitution terms before paying. Withdrawing a pending enquiry on this portal only withdraws that enquiry; it does not cancel a separate agreement or trigger a refund. Changes after acceptance must be agreed with the operator. Replacement vehicles, additional charges and material itinerary changes require your agreement. The portal cannot promise or issue a refund of money paid directly to an operator.

  7. Service problems and disruptions

The operator is responsible for the transport service, driver conduct, vehicle condition, breakdown assistance and performance of the agreed trip. Delays, breakdowns, accidents, injury, loss, theft, weather, road restrictions and cancellations can occur. Seek assistance and any available remedy from the responsible operator, insurer or authority. To the extent permitted by law, the portal does not guarantee uninterrupted travel or compensation for third-party service failures or resulting losses. Contact emergency services directly in an emergency; this portal is not an emergency service.

  8. Customer responsibilities

You must be at least 18 and authorised to make the enquiry and agree arrangements for your group. Provide accurate contact and trip details, communicate accessibility or special requirements, observe lawful passenger and luggage limits, and follow lawful safety instructions. Do not request overloading, unsafe driving or unlawful transport. You are responsible for your own conduct and any damage you cause, subject to evidence and applicable law; no automatic or disproportionate penalties are imposed by these terms.

  9. Contact, privacy and records

Submitting a request authorises the portal to share your submitted contact and trip details with the chosen operator and portal administrator for handling that request. The operator may contact you about this enquiry. This is not consent to unrelated marketing. Read the Privacy notice. Keep your private booking link confidential and retain quotations, receipts and messages. We retain the accepted terms version, its text and the acceptance time with your request. Public call and WhatsApp links connect you directly with the operator, and those conversations and payments take place outside the portal.

  10. Fair use and portal availability

Do not submit fraudulent or abusive requests, impersonate others, misuse contact details or interfere with the portal. We may restrict misuse or remove inaccurate listings for reasonable cause, subject to applicable law. Access, listings and status updates may be delayed or unavailable. Keep the operator’s contact details and independently confirm arrangements rather than relying solely on a portal status.

  11. Disputes and rights that remain protected

Raise transport, pricing, payment and refund concerns promptly with the operator and retain supporting evidence. You may also use available consumer, payment-provider, insurance, police or court remedies as appropriate. Indian law applies, subject to any mandatory law that applies to you. Nothing in these terms removes statutory consumer rights, excuses fraud or wilful misconduct, or excludes any liability, duty or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not release the portal from its own obligations under applicable law.

  12. Acceptance and future versions

Read these terms before submitting each request. By selecting the acceptance checkbox and sending the request, you agree to this version and acknowledge the portal’s limited connecting role, the operator’s transport responsibilities and the direct payment arrangement. Updated terms apply to future requests after fresh acceptance; changes do not retrospectively replace the terms saved with an earlier request.
